
BIRMINGHAM, AL (May 18, 2021) – Two current Birmingham Legion FC players have received and accepted international call-ups for early-June national team camps – forward Junior Flemmings for Jamaica and midfielder Jaden Servania for Puerto Rico.
Jamaica is scheduled to face Japan in Sapporo on June 3, Serbia in Kobe on June 7, and the Japan U-23 Olympic Team on June 12 in Nagoya in exhibition matches. Puerto Rico is set to take on the Bahamas on June 2 in Mayaguez, Puerto Rico and Guyana on June 8 in Georgetown, Guyana to close out the opening round of FIFA World Cup Qualifying matches.
Flemmings, who made his Legion FC debut this past Saturday, made his national team debut with Jamaica when he was 21 and has since earned 10 appearances and scored one goal in a 2019 CONCACAF Nations League match versus Aruba.
Servania, who joined Legion FC on an academy contract in 2019, has made four appearances for PRMNT, playing for the side as recently as this past February, and at the 2018 CONCACAF U-20 Championship he scored seven times and assisted twice in five appearances during the competition’s group stage.
