
BIRMINGHAM, AL (March 26, 2021) – March 28 is Soccer Sunday in Birmingham as Legion FC will play two games back-to-back against Major League Soccer’s Atlanta United FC starting at 2:00PM CT at BBVA Field.
Sunday’s events begin with a Watch Party in the Legion FC Plaza to cheer on the United States Men’s National Team as it takes on Northern Ireland in an international friendly in Belfast. Gates will open at BBVA Field at 11:00AM for the 11:05AM kickoff. Any fans with a ticket for the BHMvATL matches also has access to the Watch Party and is invited to come check out new Legion FC merch and enjoy concessions, food trucks, and drinks. The food trucks at the stadium Sunday will be Wasabi Juans, Taco Boys, Ruscelli’s, Hyderabad Dum Zone, and Cheezin.
Then the main event kicks off at 2:00PM CT as Legion FC takes on Atlanta United in the first of two 80-minute scrimmages. The two matches will be split by a quick, 20-minute intermission, and fans with a ticket are welcome to stay through the duration of both contests.
