PRIOR TO LEGION FC: Ereku came up through the youth ranks at Brooke House College Football Academy in England. He would go on to sign his first professional contract with FK Ekranas in 2023 and spend two seasons playing for the club in the I Lyga, the second tier of the Lithuania pyramid. Ereku has also represented Nigeria at the youth international level, having received one cap for the U-20 side in 2020 at the age of 17.
