Preseason Friendly
Chattanooga Red Wolves SC will continue its inaugural preseason schedule Saturday morning as it takes on back-to-back USL Cup Champions Louisville City FC at David Stanton Field. The exhibition is open to the public.
The matchup will be the third USL Championship team the Red Wolves have faced this preseason. The team fell to Birmingham Legion FC 2-1 and tied Atlanta United 2 1-1. The team is coming off of two closed scrimmage wins against collegiate programs, defeating both Georgia State and University of Alabama Huntsville.
The Red Wolves sit on a 2-1-1 record heading into Saturday’s match. Sito Seoane and Jonathan Caparelli are tied for most goals this preseason, tallying two each.
LouCity opened its 2019 campaign last weekend, falling to North Carolina FC 4-1. The USL Championship side will face Atlanta United 2 Friday, March 15 before making the trip to Chattanooga.

The Red Wolves will make their debut in USL League One play later this month on March 30 as the club travels to Dallas, Texas to face North Texas SC, a League One club operated by MLS side FC Dallas. The Red Wolves will face Forward Madison FC for the club’s inaugural home opening night the following week on April 6. Kickoff is 7 p.m. local time.
