Career Bio:
A versatile player capable of anchoring the midfield or bolstering the defense, Maya joins us from Wellington Phoenix FC in the A-League Women.
Maya had a decorated collegiate career at Oklahoma (2019–2020) and West Virginia University (2021–2023). At Oklahoma, she earned All-Big 12 Freshman Team honors in 2019 and was consistently on the Academic All-Big 12 First Team. She transferred to WVU, starting all 62 matches over three seasons, co-captaining the team, winning the Big 12 Championship in 2022, and being named to the Academic All-Big 12 First Team each year.
Maya earned her first professional contract with the North Carolina Courage in March 2024 before moving abroad to join Wellington Phoenix that September.
