Career Bio:
Wayny Balata, a Montréal-born playmaker joins us from Spokane Zephyr FC in the Gainbridge Super League, where she logged 10 appearances during the inaugural season.
A standout at Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Wayny finished her collegiate career with an impressive 16 goals and 5 assists in 56 matches. She earned honors on the AAC All-Rookie Team in 2019 and was selected to the All-Conference Second Team in 2021
Wayny arrives with a mature blend of North American collegiate success, professional seasoning, and international pedigree. Her vision, work ethic, and clutch passing ability are poised to elevate Dallas Trinity FC’s midfield dynamic.
International Experience: Wayny made her mark internationally through Canada’s youth national teams, competing at the 2018 U‑17 FIFA World Cup (finishing fourth) and the 2020 CONCACAF U‑20 Championship.
