What is the goal for Player Placement?
This is an event the club holds to see every El Paso Locomotive player and new players from the city that wish to join the club. In this event, coaches evaluate them and place them in the appropriate team for each player’s best developmental journey.
Any outside players looking to play for an El Paso Locomotive Team – you must register and attend player placement in order to be considered for one of our teams for the Fall 2025/Spring 2026 Season.
These placements will give your player an opportunity to make the Blue, Gold or Silver teams and may be offered for a potential tryout for a U13-U18 Academy ID Session.

Player Placement Schedule & Process?
This session will be used to identify players for Locomotive Youth Soccer Club Teams for the Fall 2025/Spring 2026 Season.
We will separate age groups into different time slots, please look at the schedule below and make the necessary arrangements to attend your player’s session.
After Player Placement, the team formation process will begin.
Families will be contacted a few weeks after once team formations are complete.
Teams will begin training for the Fall 2025/Spring 2026 season in late August.
