TULSA – FC Tulsa is giving the people what they want.
The club will sell 500 $1 hot dogs to fans at its rivalry match against OKC Energy FC on Saturday, July 17 at ONEOK Field. The dollar dogs will go on sale when gates open at 6 p.m. at a special concession stand above FC Tulsa’s Supporters Section (Section 115).
Fans will want to arrive early to ONEOK Field as the 500 dollar dogs are sure to go quickly given the constant demand by the fans over the last two seasons. There might be no better night for dollar dogs as FC Tulsa could clinch the Wrench for the second consecutive year against Black Gold Derby rival OKC Energy FC.
“Our most ardent and vocal supporters of FC Tulsa have been very clear in what is important to them,” said James Cannon, president of FC Tulsa. “So far, we have delivered a winning team on the pitch, a matchday experience centered around our fans and a stable presence in the Tulsa community. Now, we give them dollar hot dogs. Let’s eat.”
Tickets to the Black Gold Derby match against OKC on Saturday are available now, starting at just $10. FC Tulsa will be looking to extend its unbeaten streak to four matches and claim its second consecutive Wrench in Oklahoma’s soccer capital.
