Match Day Credentials
All credential applications must be made at least 72 hours prior to match days through the form on this page. Notification of acceptance or declination of credential requests will be made via email. Credentials can be picked up on match days at the ticket booth at Bishop D’Arcy Stadium, with photo identification, or in advance of match days, with prior notification, at the Ruoff Mortgage offices at 1670 Magnavox Way, Fort Wayne, Indiana.
All credential and general media questions should be directed to Justin Cohn, Director of Communications, at justin@fortwaynefc.com. All press must adhere to Fort Wayne FC guidelines or credentials will be revoked.
Match Day Field and Press Box Access
Only press with approved field access will be allowed on the field and must remain in approved locations. Field passes must be properly displayed at all times. Due to limited space at Bishop D’Arcy Stadium, press should not expect seating in the press box and should plan accordingly. Only press with credentials denoting they have access to the press box, or access to all areas, will be allowed in the press box.
Match Day Interviews
There will not be locker room access at any time for press. There will not be pregame media access with players or coaches without prior approval from Justin Cohn, Director of Communications, and there will not be halftime press access. United Soccer League on-field officials will also not be available for interviews without the permission of the USL communications staff.
Postgame media availability with Fort Wayne FC players, coaches or management staff will only take place after a 10-minute cooling down period and under the direction of the Fort Wayne FC communications staff. Requests for specific players or coaches should be directed to the Fort Wayne FC communications staff upon conclusion of the match.
Any requests for game-day access to Fort Wayne FC management, including Director of Football Operations DaMarcus Beasley, must be coordinated through the club’s communications staff.
Training Day Press Guidelines
All press wishing to attend practices should coordinate with Justin Cohn, Director of Communications, at least 24 hours in advance of practices via email at justin@fortwaynefc.com. Media members seeking content to preview matches are encouraged to attend the training sessions two days before those matches. Media who wish to attend the training sessions the day before matches must coordinate with Justin Cohn, Director of Communications, in advance and the capture of video on those days will only be allowed in approved portions of those practices.
Other Interview Requests
Any requests for in-person or phone interviews outside of match days and practices must be done through Justin Cohn, Director of Communications, at justin@fortwaynefc.com. Coaches, players and front-office staff members are not to be contacted directly without approval from the communications department.
Press Decorum
Press attending matches or practices are advised to observe proper decorum, including but not limited to: not cheering in the press box or on the field of play; bringing co-workers or family members who do not have appropriate credentials; wearing clothing inappropriate for a sports/workplace environment; engaging with the officiating staff. Failure to observe proper conduct could result in revocation of press credentials.
