April 6 match features light-up saber giveaway, Family Effect food drive & more!
Greenville, SC (April 4, 2024)- The Greenville Triumph will host its third annual Star Wars Night this Saturday, April 6th versus Northern Colorado Hailstorm. The match is presented Cambria of Greenville and features a light-up saber giveaway, music and other fun activities celebrating a galaxy far, far away. Purchase your tickets now!
The day will begin with a free yoga class on the field at Paladin Stadium with Soul Yoga. The session is available for all levels and begins at 10:00 am. Don’t miss out on your chance to enjoy this free class on the pitch. Register for free here.
Greenville has partnered with The Family Effect for a philanthropic component of the night. The Family Effect, a nonprofit organization located in Greenville, SC, that is making a difference in our community by supporting the work of the Phoenix Center. This work includes inpatient, outpatient and adolescent substance use disorder treatment programs. One such program is Serenity Place, a residential treatment center for pregnant women, young mothers and their preschool-age children. Each year, about 120 mothers and children find hope, healing and transformation at Serenity Place.
This year-long partnership will consist of a donation drive for both the Phoenix Center and Serenity Place. Baby supplies can be dropped off at the Triumph Team store throughout the year or purchased on Amazon and sent directly.
As a special part of Star Wars Night, the Triumph is collecting non-perishable food items at the stadium gates. If fans bring three items listed below to the gate prior to the match and they will receive a free GTSC 5 year sticker at the merchandise booth during the 4/6 match. In addition to taking donations, The Family Effect will also be in attendance for the 50/50 raffle on the concourse. Once fans are in their seats, they will hear the Greenville Symphony Orchestra pitch side performing an arrangement of the Star Wars score. The brass quintet will accompany the players as they make their walk out before kickoff and perform the films’ iconic soundtracks during halftime. Throughout the night, children and adults alike can find costumers along the concourse for photos. Interact and snap a picture with your favorite costumer. Fans can use the Star Wars frame on the FanCam in the Triumph App and submit a photo be featured on the videoboard this season! Plus, keep an eye out for Star Wars themed graphics and merchandise all night long.
