Triumph Leaders is designed to build a community of students equipped with the proper skills to become the next generation of leaders on the pitch, in the classroom and in life. This series will combine soccer with healthy off the field habits for adolescents in low income areas.
Program components
Afterschool Clinics
Triumph players and technical staff will run a soccer clinic at the participating schools that will coach drills for each position on the pitch. In addition to the soccer piece, our team will discuss healthy off the field habits such as leadership skills, healthy habits, and communication skills.
Instructional Videos
The club creates short, impactful video segments focused on topics like mindfulness, stress management, resilience, recovery, and staying focused under pressure. These videos are shared with participating schools to help students build mental toughness and stay grounded—valuable skills both on and off the field.
School Events
Throughout the year, Triumph players, staff, and partners visit schools to connect with students, share stories, and discuss the values that lead to success in soccer and in life. It’s an opportunity to inspire and build meaningful relationships within the community.
Career Fair Participation
To support school career fairs, Triumph Front Office staff will participate to discuss the wide range of career paths within professional sports. From marketing and coaching to management and operations, we aim to show students the many ways to be part of the sports world—even if they’re not on the field.
Triumph Match Experience
Students and their families are invited to a special Triumph match on September 13th, where they’ll not only enjoy the game but also take part in a celebratory parade around the field. It’s a unique way to bring the program full circle and recognize students’ hard work and dedication.
