The Hartford Sports Group (HSG), led by local businessmen Bruce Mandell, Joe Calafiore, and Scott Schooley, brought an expansion United Soccer League Championship Club to Hartford in 2019 in conjunction with the revitalization of the historic Dillon Stadium.
