When you look good, you feel good – and when you feel good, you play good. That’s why the Boys in Blue want to look their best – and to do that, Indiana’s Team has tabbed Black Orchid Barbers to serve as the Official Barber Lounge of Indy Eleven for a second straight season.
To celebrate the renewed partnership, Black Orchid Barbers is teaming up with the club’s Official American Whiskey Partner and fellow locally-owned business, West Fork Whiskey Co., to deliver a “pop-up barber shop” experience this Saturday, April 20, from 11:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. During the event at the West Fork Whiskey Co. tasting room (1660 Bellefontaine St.), fans can get a $25 haircut and watch the Indy Eleven away game at Bethlehem Steel when it kicks off at 4:00 p.m.
“Black Orchid Barbers is proud to be a part of Indy Eleven's growth. There is a great deal of anticipation in the city surrounding the future of professional soccer and what it'll do for Indianapolis, and it's been exciting to watch everything unfold for them this year,” said Black Orchid Barbers Co-owner Travis Moore. “Indy Eleven is one of the most forward-thinking, well-marketed organizations in town, which is why helping them create more local interest for the world’s most popular sport was a no-brainer. The club’s creativity to make this happen is indicative to their commitment of success for us, themselves and our city."
Through the partnership, Black Orchid Barbers will sponsor the “Close S(h)ave of the Month,” highlighting the best stop by an Indy Eleven goalkeeper each month. Black Orchid will also have a presence at select Indy Eleven home games, hosting a hair painting station in the pre-game Honda Fun Zone for fans who want to wear their red & blue pride up top.
