Darey quickly made her mark in the collegiate ranks, earning All-BIG EAST Freshman Team accolades during the 2022 campaign. In 18 appearances primarily as a defensive midfielder, which included 16 starts, Darey tallied one goal off 15 shots and two assists. In 2023, Darey appeared in 17 matches where she produced one goal and one assist.
Prior to her time with the Bulldogs, Darey played for Chelsea FC and captained her school team at Blenheim. She helped her club to a 53-game unbeaten streak, a pair of National Championships (2018 & 2019) and a 2019 Surrey Cup Championship. In 2022, the side again qualified for the ongoing National Cup and Surrey Cup finals. Darey has also participated in multiple England Youth National Team Camps.
