Mitchell completed her second season at Virginia Tech, scoring 12 goals and tallying nine assists as a Hokie. As a freshman, Mitchell was named TopDrawerSoccer Second Team Freshman Best XI as well as ranked No. 11 on the Top 100 Freshman List.
Prior to college, Mitchell was a member of the Arsenal Club for four years, leading the team in goals each year. Earning many accolades, the midfielder has been named ECNL Player to Watch, 2018 US Club National Cup Semi-Finalist and CIF Southern Selection D1 Player of the Year. While playing for Temecula Valley High School, Mitchell earned First Team All-League honors (2020, 2021) and holds the school record for the most goals in a single season (37) and the most points in a single season (87).
