EL PASO, TEXAS (Wednesday, June 9, 2021) – Indy Eleven fell for the second consecutive game in five days’ time as it continued its five-game, 18-day gauntlet on the road against El Paso Locomotive FC Wednesday night at Southwest University Park, 0-2. Despite Eleven goalkeeper Jordan Farr registering six saves in the sweltering Texas heat, tallies from El Paso’s Nick Ross and Diego Luna in the 2nd and 49th minute, respectively, saw the home side claim all three points on the evening.

“It was a hard game and we didn’t start well. It was the worst possible start giving away an early goal. That was very frustrating because we worked on making sure we defended those situations well,” said Indy Eleven Head Coach Martin Rennie. “We lost another one but kept pushing, working and trying to get goals out of a couple of chances. It seems like after this stretch of games that we didn’t have that extra energy we needed to get the goal.”

It was Locomotive FC getting the early lead in the second minute of the match. El Paso defender and former Boys in Blue Macauley King lobbed his cross from the right flank into the middle of Indy’s penalty area to an unmarked Nick Ross, who took a touch and hammered his volley off the top of the crossbar and behind Jordan Farr for the first goal of the evening. The hosts nearly doubled their lead five minutes later when another cross from King connected with Luis Solignac as he slipped between Indy’s backline, nodding a header near the spot which luckily rebounded off the far-left post for Farr to quickly collect.  

El Paso continued to pressure Indy’s defenders early in the first half with Solignac getting another look at goal in the 16th minute. The Argentinian gained possession near the centerline and launched into a bit of give-and-go play with teammate – and Indy Eleven Class of 2014 – Dylan Mares as the striking pair charged towards goal, with Eleven defender Karl Ouimette in tow. Farr did well in attempting to smother the play, but a slight shove from Ouimette sent Solignac leaping over the ‘keeper, grazing his forehead with his cleats and halting the play. After a quick check Farr was cleared to continue play.

Indiana’s Team found their first dangerous moment of the evening in the 26th minute when midfielder Gershon Koffie slipped a pass through the middle to Jordan Hamilton, with the forward laying the ball off to Cammy Smith in El Paso’s attacking third. The Scotsman took a touch and tipped the ball into Locomotive’s 12-yard box creating an opportunity for Hamilton, but goaltender Logan Ketterer charged off his line and collected before Hamilton could get a shot off.

El Paso had two more glances at goal to close out the first half. Eder Borelli came dashing down the left flank and sent a cross from the byline through the middle Indy’s area. King nodded the ball down which Farr was to collect. The clock eclipsed into first-half stoppage time before El Paso had another opportunity withyet another cross from the left landing in a scrum of players just outside the goal. Solignac came close to getting his first goal of the night, but not before the ball was cleared out of danger by an Indy Eleven defender.

El Paso entered the second stanza swinging, with Ross collecting another on-target attempt a minute after the whistle. Solignac volleyed a pass back to Ross inside Indy’s area for a one-touch shot, Farr quickly diving down for the save. The home side’s persistence would pay off, finding their second goal of the night by way of forward Diego Luna in the 49th minute. A string of 1-2 passes from Solignac fed the ball to the 17-year-old, whose shot from distance took an unfortunate deflection off an Indy defender’s boot and moved just out Farr’s reach and over the line near the right post.  

Farr was tested once again in the 55th minute when Luna struck from 15 yard out, the attempt bouncing comfortably into the ‘keeper’s gloves. Eleven forward Gordon Wild had his first look at goal two minutes later after a shove from behind on Hamilton earned a free kick opportunity outside ELP’s box for Indy Eleven – and a yellow card for El Paso’s Bryam Rebellon. Midfielder Nicky Law faked forward and back with Wild ultimately blasting the dead ball on frame from 25 yards out, forcing Ketterer into a falling save.

El Paso returned fire in the 60th minute – Mares’ shot from distance jumping out of Farr’s grasp and leaving the goaltender to scramble andto collect. Luna returned once again in the 63rd minute for yet another shot from just outside the box, Farr stopping the attempt early with a massive stop near the edge of the box.

Wild looked to make his mark on the match once again in the 65th minute. A long ball from the back found the German outside of ELP’s box, a light touch brought the pass down and beat past two Locomotive FC defenders for a shot on goal, but Ketterer palmed the attempt down to keep Indy off the board.

Both sides continued searching for goal scoring opportunities throughout the remainder of the half, but neither team could find quality chances as the fourth official blew the final whistle after four minutes of stoppage time.

2021 USL CHAMPIONSHIP REGULAR SEASON RECORDS

After having its three-game undefeated streak snapped four days prior, Indy Eleven will look to rebound on the road this Wednesday for a rare 9:00 p.m. ET kickoff in its first-ever meeting with Western Conference side El Paso Locomotive FC.

Indiana’s Team will be looking for a bounce back win in its fourth match in 12 days and improve its Central Division standing after a shock and somewhat controversial 1-2 loss against Memphis 901 FC last Saturday at IUPUI Michael A. Carroll Stadium. First half goals from 901 FC’s Michael Salazar and Kyle Murphy in the 3rd and 35th minutes, respectively, gifted the visitors their first win of the season. Eleven defender Karl Ouimette managed to keep Memphis goaltender John Berner from registering his second clean sheet of the season, hammering a shot in the back of the net deep into second half stoppage time, long after what should have been an early equalizing goal by forward Manuel Arteaga in the 17th minute was not awarded.

Heading into the tail end of a five-game, 18-day stretch and still without defender Neveal Hackshaw, who left the squad last Thursday to report to the Trinidad & Tobago Men’s National Team camp ahead of a pair of FIFA World Cup Qualifying matches, Indy will likely be forced into more rotation in an attempt to keep fresh legs for the next two matches. With temperatures projected to be in the mid-90’s around kickoff, Indy Eleven Head Coach Martin Rennie will be looking to put a heavy emphasis on recovery efforts leading up to the match.

Coming off an intrastate 1-0 rivalry win at Austin Bold FC six days prior, Locomotive FC will get its first taste of schedule congestion this Wednesday, kicking off a spell of three games in 10 days that may force the Texan side to rotate some of its key players. Head Coach Mark Lowry has already experimented with squad rotation following his team’s scoreless draw against Sporting Kansas City II on May 30, making five changes to his starting lineup last time out in Austin. The changes proved fruitful, as 17-year-old Diego Luna netted his first professional goal and the game-winner in his first start, assisted by former Indy Eleven defender Macauley King (more on him below). Though El Paso is currently tied for the lowest goal production across the Championship, the team has put up one of best defenses heading into Week 8, conceding a league-best one goal in its first four matches, a stat Indy Eleven’s offense will look to disrupt in the midweek fixture. 

 

Series History vs. El Paso Locomotive:

First meeting

While Indy Eleven has made previous trips to Texas during its North American Soccer League era to face off against San Antonio Scorpions (2014-15), this will mark the first match-up against El Paso Locomotive in both team’s franchise histories.

El Paso isn’t an entirely new name to the Eleven faithful, having acquired former Boys in Blue midfielder Dylan Mares and as mentioned earlier, King.

A native of Zionsville, Ind., Mares was an inaugural member of Indy Eleven’s Class of 2014 roster, scoring 10 goals in 73 appearances before heading to The Miami FC in 2017. Mares returned for a short stint in 2018, chalking up another two goals in 11 appearances before heading back to Miami the following season.

King singed his first professional contract with Indy Eleven ahead of its 2019 USL Championship season after completing his collegiate career at Young Harris College. The Englishman went on to make 22 appearances (17 starts), tallying one goal, three assists and created 10 chances to help Indy reach the 2019 USL Championship Eastern Conference Final before eventually heading to El Paso in August 2020.

 

IND Player to Watch: MF Nicky Law

Nicky Law has been, well, laying down the law in the midfield for Indiana’s Team so far this season. The English import has started his first season stateside strong after coming over from England’s SkyBet League Two side Exeter City FC. Law has added a major veteran presence to Indy Eleven’s midfield, having made over 500 career appearances across Europe, including top-flight stops with English Premier League side Sheffield United and Scottish Premiership’s Rangers F.C. Law has slotted into a key midfielder role where he has become a mainstay and a vocal leader, leading every Indy Eleven player not named Jordan Farr in minutes on the pitch at 494 in six appearances (four starts) heading into Week 8.

Looking forward to El Paso, Law will need to continue his work as a master distributor in the midfield.  The 33-year-old has quickly become a crucial component in Indy’s offensive build, leading his teammates, as well as the entire Eastern Conference, with a jaw-dropping 16 chances created since his debut. Not only does Law lead the Eleven in key passes, but he also leads in total passes with 309 to his name, averaging nearly 56 passes per game thus far. A key cog in the engine room, it’s hard to believe that Law has yet to record an assist or a goal on the season, but there would be no better time to notch his first tally in either column than against an El Paso defense that is as strong as any defense in the USL Championship.

 

ELP Player to Watch: GK Logan Ketterer

Ketterer has returned to the Lone Star State after embarking on a brief stint with Major League Soccer side Portland Timbers. The 27-year-old keeper found himself with big shoes to fill while in the Rose City, where he was brought in on an emergency loan after injuries to three of Timbers’ four goalkeepers. He kept two clean sheets in three matches and brought home wins against the San Jose Earthquakes and LA Galaxy, before falling to the Philadelphia Union. Ketterer was returned to El Paso on June 2nd and will look to replace Adrián Zendejas between the sticks this Wednesday against the Boys in Blue.

The Racine, Wisconsin native has made one appearance for El Paso so far this season, a 1-1 draw in the team’s season opener at home against New Mexico United. Last season, Ketterer helped guide El Paso to the top of the Group C table – which was composed of New Mexico United, Colorado Springs Switchbacks and Real Monarchs SLC – while maintaining a Western Conference-best eight clean sheets in 16 regular season contests. The Bradley University alum also helped lead El Paso to the Western Conference Final, before ultimately falling to Phoenix Rising in penalties. Ketterer looks to lead a defense that has allowed only a league-best one goal in four games against an Indy Eleven squad looking to capitalize on key moments.

Despite Memphis continuing to push the pace, it was Indy Eleven that should have moved the scoreboard next, only the referee crew didn’t – or couldn’t – see it that way. Arteaga’s rocket from 25 yards out bounced off the underside of the crossbar and then over the goalline; however, with the assistant referee well off the goalline out past the penalty area, the valid goal was not recognized despite desperate pleas from the home side.

Memphis would take advantage of defensive miscues by the Eleven to double their lead in the 35th minute. After Salazar stripped the ball free in midfield and carried into the area, the Eleven backline recovered well enough to block his initial shot. However, after a missed clearance the ball bounced to Murphy, who calmly slotted his shot from eight yards inside the far-left post. Memphis would hold steady for the final ten minutes of the stanza and carry its shock 2-0 advantage into the halftime break.

Rennie made a trio of changes at the break in an attempt to spark his side, with midfielders Nicky Law and Nick Moon and forward Gordon Wild entering the fray. Wild nearly made an immediate impact with a corner kick less than a minute into the half, but A.J. Cochran’s header was pushed just wide right.

Farr would come up big on the other end in the 56th minute, when Memphis defender Mark Segbers danced into the area on a mazy run and poked a chance from close range, which the Indy netminder went low to poke away from goal. A minute later it was Segbers again creating danger, his cross from inside the area nearly finding Salazar at the far post if not for a deflection on the way by an Indy defender.

Wild had a claim for a point to the spot in the 68th minute after drawing contact inside the Memphis area, but play continued on. In the 75th minute it was midfielder Gershon Koffie attempting a looping shot over Berner that bounced just wide, continuing Indy’s frustrating night in the final third. Farr was called upon again in the 78th minute, coming up big on Kissiedou’s blast from distance, leaping well to get a two-handed parry on the ball.

Indy would keep the pressure up into stoppage time, Moon’s near-post attempt three minutes forcing Berner into action. Another Wild service on a corner would finally pay off in the sixth minute of stoppage time, the ball deflecting off of Koffie before Ouimette sent it through traffic inside the six and into the roof of the net to set up a frantic finish. The comeback would run out of time, however, sending the Boys in Blue to a disappointing home result.

2021 USL CHAMPIONSHIP REGULAR SEASON RECORDS 

Indy Eleven: 3W-1L-1D, 10 pts. (+2 GD), 1st in Central Division  

Memphis 901 FC: 0W-1L-2D, 2 pts. (-1 GD), 8th in Central Division  

 

For the second time in four days, Indy Eleven will play host to a scrappy squad hungry for points and looking for its first win of 2021, this time on Saturday evening when Memphis 901 FC comes to the Circle City for Pride Night at Carroll Stadium.

While Indy Eleven leapt back to the top of the Central Division standings with Wednesday night’s 1-1 draw against OKC Energy FC, Indiana’s Team felt like it left points on the table after surrendering the lead in the 69th minute. In the second match of a four-game, 12-day gauntlet, Head Coach Martin Rennie slightly rotated his lineup, which charged out of the gates in the first half and was unlucky to be up only 1-0 at the half through Nick Moon’s 42nd minute header. Those missed opportunities to pad the lead piled up and eventually came back to the Boys in Blue, who stayed unbeaten for a third straight match (2W-0L-1D) despite being forced to share the spoils.

Indy will be forced into more rotation with the departure of left back Neveal Hackshaw, who left the squad Thursday to report to the Trinidad & Tobago Men’s National Team ahead of the Soca Warriors’ upcoming FIFA World Cup Qualifying matches. With a third game in a week and the longest road trip of the season at El Paso ahead midweek, don’t be surprised to see more squad switches up Rennie’s sleeve in an attempt to keep his lads as fresh as possible on what is slated to be a steamy day in Central Indiana.

While new Memphis Head Coach Ben Pirmann must worry about roster turnover of his own on Saturday, it’s not because of mileage on his squad’s legs, but rather a red card and more international call-ups. Forward Kadeem Dacres scored one of 901 FC’s goals and assisted on the other, and also leads or co-leads the squad in crosses (11), shots (7), and shots on goal (3), but after picking up a second yellow in the 89th minute at OKC last weekend, the veteran Championship striker will sit Saturday night out, putting even more of the attacking burden on his running mate up top, Laurent Kissiedou (1 goal, 7 shots, 2 shots on goal). Another 901 FC first XI fixture in midfielder Dre Fortune has joined Hackshaw with Trinidad & Tobago, while Memphis’ defensive depth will be limited with the absence of Raul Gonzalez as he continues national team duty with Puerto Rico.

Indy Eleven enters Saturday’s match with a spotless record in the short history with Memphis dating back to the Tennessee side’s expansion season of 2019. That year, the Boys in Blue started the series with a 3-0 victory at AutoZone Park on June 8 before equaling that scoreline at Lucas Oil Stadium on October 5.

Last year, Indy Eleven began its regular season on March 7 by finishing the game’s final four goals past American soccer legend Tim Howard in a 4-2 win that marked the first time in the Eleven’s then seven-season history it had posted a victory after going behind multiple goals on the road. That game was the lone “pre-pandemic” match of the start-and-stop 2020 USL Championship season for the Boys in Blue.

Indy Eleven defender Rece Buckmaster will be suiting up against his former side on Saturday night (1G/1A in 14 GP in 2020), while midfielder Mitch Guitar will be going up against the side that loaned him to Memphis just prior to the start of this season (no appearances for Indy in 2020). Indy Eleven also acquired former Memphis striker Cal Jennings this past offseason, but he never saw time for Indiana’s Team after the squad transferred him to MLS’ Los Angeles FC in March.

 

INDY ELEVEN PLAYER TO WATCH: FW GORDON WILD

Wild has been off to nothing less than a, well, “Wild start” with Indiana’s Team. The Leonberg, Germany native and former LA Galaxy man has found early success up top with the Eleven, notching three assists in his first four appearances, including the corner kick service on Nick Moon’s goal against OKC in Wednesday’s 1-1 draw. Wild’s three assists are good enough to tie him for the USL Championship league lead in the category. Wild has yet to net for the Boys in Blue, but it has not been for a lack of effort as his six shots on target also leads the Eleven. Having scored 18 goals across the 2018 & 2019 seasons for Charleston Battery and Loudoun United FC, respectively, he knows how to score at this level, so look for the German to find the back of the net soon enough.

A big question mark in the offseason was who could replace the goal-scoring machine over the last two seasons that was Tyler Pasher. The transfer of the speedy scorer to Houston Dynamo FC of MLS this past offseason raised plenty of questions about where exactly Indy’s goals would come from, with Wild being just part of a handful of attacking players with good experience entering the prime of their careers.  While Wild has yet to score, he is the only player to register any assists thus far for the Eleven, officially helping on three of Indy’s four goals from the run of play – and each to three different players as well. Wild has quickly become a stalwart as the right forward in Rennie’s 3-4-3 attack-minded formation, proving quick and dangerous with the ball at his feet and more than a little fearless, having won 22 duels so far this season. Whether part of the lineup or providing a spark off the bench, look for Wild to continue his swashbuckling ways into the heart of the Memphis defense come Saturday night.

MEMPHIS 901 FC PLAYER TO WATCH: DF MARK SEGBERS

Bright spots have been few and far between for Memphis so far this season, but they can find consistency in Mark Segbers. The University of Wisconsin alum has played every minute for Memphis while doing a little bit of everything so far this campaign. As part of his primary defensive duties, Segbers helped guide Memphis to their first clean sheet of 2021 against OKC last time out. However, don’t let the 25-year-old’s defender listing fool you, as his attacking chops are extremely polished as well – and in much more demand this season. After contributing two assists on five key passes and 23 crosses in 10 games in 2020, Segbers has already tallied one assist (on one of six crossing attempts) and notched a team-high eight key passes in 270 minutes of action.

           

That said, Segbers will primarily be tasked with containing Indy’s left-sided attacking players, a group likely containing some combination of Manuel Arteaga, Cammy Smith, Patrick Seagrist, or Ayoze – with perhaps a dash of Nicky Law and the afore-mentioned Gordon Wild in doses. Segbers will have to be ready to contain an Eleven attack looking to break out and score a bundle of goals to make up for Wednesday’s missed chances – and continue a torrid pace of 3.33 goals per game scored against Memphis in their brief history (including a four-spot against Segbers & Co. last year). Look for Segbers to be aggressive on defense and add to his eight interceptions while also giving the Indy backline some food for thought as he gets upfield to deliver one of his trademark crosses or a crucial pass to unlock the Eleven.

Hackshaw was also called to action on January 31 in Trinidad & Tobago’s international friendly against the United States, entering the match in the 56th minute.

INDIANAPOLIS – Indy Eleven used a late first half goal by midfielder Nick Moon to take a lead over OKC Energy FC, but the visitors would find a second half equalizer through Frank Lopez to force a 1-1 draw at IUPUI Michael A. Carroll Stadium. The result kept Indy Eleven unbeaten in its last three times out (2W-0L-1D) and pushed Indiana’s Team back atop the Central Division standings, its 10 points even with Birmingham Legion FC.

“I really felt like the whole team the first half was pretty good, the second half wasn’t quite as energetic and as driven from the team as I was expecting. I felt like we were almost playing the result more than the game,” said Indy Eleven Head Coach Martin Rennie. “That’s not how we play and that’s not how we win. I think coming off of a big win the game before was a little bit of a letdown in the second half and something we need to put right.”

The match took 10 minutes or so to pick up the pace, but it did so quickly when Eleven forward Gordon Wild collected in midfield and raced to the top of the area only to his shot high. A minute later OKC forward Villyan Bijev broke out himself, beating a defender to get towards the endline but ultimately firing a shot that Eleven goalkeeper Jordan Farr let slide through his six-yard box without worry.

A Wild set piece delivery nearly paid dividends in the 17th minute, but defender Nedelkjo Malic’s header at the six glanced just wide left, as did shots from the edge of the area by forwards Manuel Arteaga and Cammy Smith in the 20th minute. Moon got in on the shot parade in the 28th minute, running onto a free ball 25 yards out that rose just over the crossbar.

After a flurry of OKC set pieces fell by the wayside around the 35th minute, Wild again found space on a counter opportunity, firing a chance that didn’t miss the near upper left corner by much. It was midfielder Nicky Law’s looping ball over the OKC backline finding Wild once again in the 39th minute, this time a mishit ball bouncing to a fortunate Cochran on his line.

Instead of finishing, it was Wild playing provider to give Indy the opener in the 42nd minute. The German’s in-swinging corner kick swerved to meet Moon at the six, where he thundered home a header to notch his first goal of 2021 – and give Wild his league co-leading third assist of the early season.

The second stanza opened with mostly half chances through the first 15 minutes, but sparked to life in the 63rd minute when Lopez turned on an Indy defender and nearly caught Farr off his line, only to see his chipped effort bounce just wide. Six minutes later Lopez would indeed even for the visitors, his lunging effort to get on the end of defender Robert Coronado’s cross to the six landing just inside the right post to square the proceedings.  

Before being subbed off, Wild would have one last go at goal in the 75th minute with a shot from 20 yards that Cochran handled on the bounce. The last quarter hour and four minutes of stoppage elapsed with neither side offering a major threat to break the deadlock, sending both squads home with a share of the spoils.

INDIANAPOLIS – Indy Eleven used a late first half goal by midfielder Nick Moon to take a lead over OKC Energy FC, but the visitors would find a second half equalizer through Frank Lopez to force a 1-1 draw at IUPUI Michael A. Carroll Stadium. The result kept Indy Eleven unbeaten in its last three times out (2W-0L-1D) and pushed Indiana’s Team back atop the Central Division standings, its 10 points even with Birmingham Legion FC.

“I really felt like the whole team the first half was pretty good, the second half wasn’t quite as energetic and as driven from the team as I was expecting. I felt like we were almost playing the result more than the game,” said Indy Eleven Head Coach Martin Rennie. “That’s not how we play and that’s not how we win. I think coming off of a big win the game before was a little bit of a letdown in the second half and something we need to put right.”

The match took 10 minutes or so to pick up the pace, but it did so quickly when Eleven forward Gordon Wild collected in midfield and raced to the top of the area only to his shot high. A minute later OKC forward Villyan Bijev broke out himself, beating a defender to get towards the endline but ultimately firing a shot that Eleven goalkeeper Jordan Farr let slide through his six-yard box without worry.

A Wild set piece delivery nearly paid dividends in the 17th minute, but defender Nedelkjo Malic’s header at the six glanced just wide left, as did shots from the edge of the area by forwards Manuel Arteaga and Cammy Smith in the 20th minute. Moon got in on the shot parade in the 28th minute, running onto a free ball 25 yards out that rose just over the crossbar.

After a flurry of OKC set pieces fell by the wayside around the 35th minute, Wild again found space on a counter opportunity, firing a chance that didn’t miss the near upper left corner by much. It was midfielder Nicky Law’s looping ball over the OKC backline finding Wild once again in the 39th minute, this time a mishit ball bouncing to a fortunate Cochran on his line.

Instead of finishing, it was Wild playing provider to give Indy the opener in the 42nd minute. The German’s in-swinging corner kick swerved to meet Moon at the six, where he thundered home a header to notch his first goal of 2021 – and give Wild his league co-leading third assist of the early season.

The second stanza opened with mostly half chances through the first 15 minutes, but sparked to life in the 63rd minute when Lopez turned on an Indy defender and nearly caught Farr off his line, only to see his chipped effort bounce just wide. Six minutes later Lopez would indeed even for the visitors, his lunging effort to get on the end of defender Robert Coronado’s cross to the six landing just inside the right post to square the proceedings.  

Before being subbed off, Wild would have one last go at goal in the 75th minute with a shot from 20 yards that Cochran handled on the bounce. The last quarter hour and four minutes of stoppage elapsed with neither side offering a major threat to break the deadlock, sending both squads home with a share of the spoils.

The native of Scarborough, Ontario, earned his TOTW nod by notching a pair of penalty kick conversions in last Saturday’s 2-1 win at Louisville City FC, which snapped the Eleven’s 10-game winless streak in the rivalry series. Hamilton earned the first spot kick himself after drawing a foul inside the penalty area in the 63rd minute and stepped up to take the crucial winner from the spot in the 89th minute after fellow forward Manuel Arteaga was taken down by the ‘keeper a minute earlier.

Since injury limited the 25-year-old striker to substitute appearances in Indy’s first two contests, Hamilton has scored three times across his first two starts, including the game-winners in both the Louisville victory and a 2-0 triumph over Sporting KC II on May 22. GK – John Pulskamp, Sporting Kansas City II: John Pulskamp recorded a six-save shutout including five saves on shots inside the penalty area and also completed 27 of 30 passes in SKC II’s 0-0 draw with El Paso Locomotive FC on Sunday.

D – Adrian Diz Pe, Rio Grande Valley FC: Adrian Diz Pe recorded the assist on Juan Azocar’s spectacular late equalizer for the Toros against San Antonio FC and defensively won 13 of 15 duels, 7 of 8 aerial duels and made four interceptions.

D – Dani Rovira, Pittsburgh Riverhounds SC: Dani Rovira recorded one assist and two key passes and defensively recorded four interceptions and 12 recoveries while winning four tackles and 10 duels in his side’s 3-0 win against the New York Red Bulls II.
