In her junior season at UCLA, McMahon played and started in 19 games, registering one goal and seven assists. Named to the All-Pac-12 first team for the second time and All-Pacific Region second team, McMahon became the first player to ever earn Pac-12 Defensive Player of the Week four times in a single season. As a sophomore, the defender had 23 game starts, earning three goals and six assists for the Bruins. In her first season at UCLA, McMahon was named to the Pac-12 All-Freshman team after contributing one goal and seven assists.
During her prep years, McMahon played club soccer with Indiana Fire Juniors. The defender was named Gatorade Stay Player of the Year for Indiana in 2020-21 as well as earned United Soccer Coaches All-America, All-State and All-District honors in 2020. In her senior season, McMahon scored 19 goals and contributed 21 assists.
