Team leader in clearances (148) and blocks (31) in 2024. Finished fifth in the USLC in clearances, recording a season-high 12 at Pittsburgh. Second among Boys in Blue returning field players with 2,411 minutes in 2024, starting 25 of 31 games. Third among returnees with 20 interceptions, recording a season-high three.
Earned USLC “Team of the Week” recognition five times in 2024, including first-team honors on June 4 and October 15. His Week 32 selection came after he helped the team record clean sheets at Loudoun United and Detroit City.
He scored his first goal for the Boys in Blue on May 18 vs. Hartford. In his next outing, he scored another goal in the U.S. Open Cup Round of 16 vs. Detroit City.
Ofeimu’s first Indy Eleven assist set up one of the team’s most important goals of the season. At Loudoun United in early October in the 83rd minute, Ofeimu headed the ball down from the corner of the six to James Musa, who, with his back to the goal, volleyed it high over the keeper with his left foot for the game winner in a 1-0 victory.
The 24-year-old Ofeimu enters 2025 with 128 career appearances in seven seasons of USLC play.
The 6’4 Ofeimu was acquired from Miami FC on April 11, 2024.
Ofeimu joined Miami ahead of the 2022 season and saw action in 40 matches, making 29 starts and logging nearly 2,800 minutes in just over two seasons.
Prior to his time in Miami, Ofeimu appeared in 15 matches for Birmingham Legion FC in 2021 and spent three seasons (2018-20) with Bethlehem Steel FC/Philadelphia Union II, seeing time in 46 matches.
