Enters second season with Indy Eleven with 60 career regular-season goals in 151 appearances (115 starts) in USLC play. His strike rate of 156.2 minutes/goal is tied for fifth among players who have scored at least 60 goals.
He scored his first goal for the Boys in Blue in dramatic fashion with a game-tying free kick in the final minute of stoppage time vs. Pittsburgh on Aug. 31, earning a USLC “Goal of the Week” nomination.
Williams also earned USLC “Team of the Week” recognition after scoring his 60th career goal vs. El Paso.
For Indy Eleven in 2024, Williams played in 17 matches, starting 12. He had a season-high four shots in three different games, recording bests of three blocks, two tackles, and two interceptions.
He is third among Boys in Blue returning players in shots (37) and shots on goal (16) and fourth in fouls won (22).
Indy Eleven acquired Williams via transfer from Hartford Athletic on June 14, 2024. Williams appeared in 11 matches, making seven starts, at Hartford in 2024. The forward had two goals off 13 shots in more than 600 minutes.
Williams was selected as the third overall pick by Montreal in the 2015 MLS Draft. He played a pair of games for the MLS side that season as well as seven on loan at FC Montreal. The 2016 and 2017 seasons saw Williams appear in 49 total matches for the USL’s Charleston Battery, where he scored 25 goals and registered four assists.
His success brought him back to the MLS in 2018 as Williams spent two seasons as part of the Atlanta United organization. Overall, he saw action in 19 matches with the first team, playing in 17 to help the club win the 2018 MLS Cup, and 12 with Atlanta United 2. During the 2019 season, Williams appeared in seven matches with the Columbus Crew.
Williams returned to the USL Championship in 2020, scoring eight goals in 16 matches for Miami FC before playing internationally for Egyptian Premier League’s Ittihad Alexandria SC and Qadsia SC out of the Kuwait Premier League in 2021.
In July of 2022 he returned to the U.S. and played in 10 matches with New Mexico United before joining Colorado Springs ahead of the 2023 season. Williams scored 15 goals, tied for seventh in USL Championship action, and added three assists in 29 appearances with the Switchbacks.
The Jamaican has made 24 appearances and scored four goals for the senior national team since his debut on Nov. 13, 2016. He earned five caps in 2024, scoring in the Concacaf Nations League in October to help his team advance to the quarterfinals vs. the USA.
Williams also played for the U-23 and U-17 sides, making three appearances in the 2011 U-17 FIFA World Cup and five appearances in CONCACAF qualifiers.
Williams played collegiate soccer at UCF for three seasons, with current Boys in Blue assistant coach Gabe Zapponi his teammate the first two years. Williams recorded 18 goals and five assists in 51 games, 46 as starter. He was the 2013 American Athletic Conference Player of the Year and he earned All-American Athletic Conference first team in 2014.
