During her prep career, Cuneio served as a six-time team captain for her club team, St. Louis Scott Gallagher. She earned numerous accolades including ECNL Midwest U16 Player of the Year, ENCL U16 All-America and Midwest All-Conference honors. After only playing one season for Eureka High School, Cuneio was named Class Four Defender of the Year and Missouri All-State in 2022.
