Louisville City head coach Danny Cruz made a trio of defensive changes for his club’s 7:30 p.m. Wednesday meeting with Miami FC at Lynn Family Stadium.
Jake Morris (left) and Manny Perez (right) take over the wingback roles held by Amadou Dia and Aiden McFadden, respectively, in last weekend’s win over Memphis 901 FC. Additionally, Wes Charpie slots in at center back for Arturo Ordóñez.
Sean Totsch and Kyle Adams round out the rest of City’s back line in front of goalkeeper Damian Las.
Taylor Davila and Elijah Wynder, who both scored in the rallying 4-2 victory over Memphis, maintain their roles as LouCity’s midfield duo.
Up top, Wilson Harris leads the way for the LouCity attack with Adrien Perez and Ray Serrano on either side.
Wednesday’s match makes up the second of two games in hand first-place LouCity holds on the chasing Charleston Battery. With a victory, the boys in purple would move to within three points of clinching the USL Championship’s Players’ Shield awarded for the league’s best regular season record.
City vs. Miami is set to air locally on MyTV 58, WDRB+ and ESPN Louisville’s AM 680/FM 105.7. ESPN+ will carry national streaming coverage.
