Louisville City FC will face Rochester Rhinos in the Eastern Conference Semifinal of the USL Cup Playoffs at Slugger Field this Saturday, October 28, kickoff 7:30pm.

The semifinal showdown was set up after No.4 seed Rochester eliminated No. 5 Charlotte 2-1 on Saturday night. A deflected goal by Stefan Defregger in the 113th minute gave the Rhinos the victory in extra time at Capelli Sport Stadium, after the match finished 1-1 in regulation.
LouCity claimed their semifinal spot with a decisive 4-0 victory over Bethlehem Steel FC at Slugger Field on Friday evening. Man-of-the-match, Tarek Morad, netted a brace while Luke Spencer and Brian Ownby added two more to give LouCity its biggest win in postseason play to date.
After becoming the 17th and last of Louisville’s outfield players to find the back of the net the previous Saturday night against the Richmond Kickers, Morad got a taste for scoring goals instead of preventing them in his normal defensive role. A member of LouCity’s squad from the club’s inaugural season on, Morad had only scored four regular-season goals for the team before scoring the opening two goals of the 2017 USL Cup Playoffs.
