Before Louisville City: Ordoñez made his move to the United States in 2019 to play for Pitt, which made its first NCAA College Cup appearance a year later. After the Houston Dynamo selected him 39th in the 2022 MLS SuperDraft, he signed his first pro contract with the Pittsburgh Riverhounds, starting all but three games as a rookie in 2022. Ordóñez joined LouCity after helping Pittsburgh claim its first silverware in the club’s USL Championship era: the Players’ Shield for best regular season record. The center back also finished his career in Pittsburgh as the 2023 USL Championship Defender of the Year in tandem with All-League First Team honors.
