Name: Nate Rathjen
Where are you from?
Centreville, Va. Currently live in Leesburg.
How long have you lived in Loudoun/D.C.?
NoVa 20 years, Loudoun 2
What’s your favorite hobby?
Running! On any given morning I can almost always be found on the W&OD or out on the streets of downtown Leesburg.
What got you into soccer?
I honestly don't remember — my earliest soccer memories are of the 2006 World Cup, when I was 12. Whatever it was that hooked me, I've been hooked ever since.
What is your favorite soccer memory?
2012: Lewis Neal's stoppage time winner vs. Columbus to put D.C. back into the playoffs for the first time in 5 years. I'll never forget jumping on the couch in my freshman dorm while (TV announcer) Dave Johnson went insane. Runner-up: 2013, USMNT beating Germany 4-3 at sold-out RFK.
Who is your favorite player?
Weston McKennie
What are you looking forward to the most about Loudoun United?
Having professional soccer right in my town!
