Loudoun United FC goalkeeper Luis Zamudio was named to USL Championship Team of the Week for Week 26, the league announced today.
Zamudio recorded a nine-save shutout in Loudoun’s 1-0 victory on the road against Memphis 901 FC Wednesday night. The 6-foot-4-inch goalkeeper recorded the most saves in a shutout so far this Championship season.
Luis Zamudio holds Loudoun United’s single-season clean sheet record (6) and is just one clean sheet shy of tying United’s past three USL season’s clean sheets combined (7).
