Loudoun United FC (LUFC) head into their second meeting of the season with Mark Lowry’s squad on a high following a 3-0 victory against Hartford Athletic.
D.C. United’s Ted Ku-DiPietro scored the go-ahead goal. The D.C. United Homegrown finished the match with a goal and an assist. The man of the match created three chances, completed three dribbles and won eight duels.
Forward Tyler Freeman recorded a brace in less than three minutes, subbing on in the 77th minute.
Forward Skage Simonsen recorded two assists on the night, his third in two matches. The Norwegian leads the team with seven assists this season, a single-season record for Loudoun United.
Goalkeeper Luis Zamudio recorded four saves for his seventh shutout of the season, tying the amount of clean sheets LUFC has kept in the last three seasons combined.
