Davie, Fla. (February 26, 2022) – The Miami Football Club continued its slew of preseason games at the Training Facility at Nova Southeastern University to face the Sharks Men’s Soccer team. Miami won the exhibition game 4-3 after three 30-minute periods.
Head coach Anthony Pulis summoned a starting lineup consisting of seven contracted players and four trialists. The bench consisted of goalkeeper Noah Abrams and two trialists.

The home side opened the scoring thanks to a deflected shot in the 15th-minute. The score remained at 1-0 in favor of the Sharks by the end of the first 30-minute period.
Pulis lifted the team spirit with a talk during the intermission between the first and second 30-minute periods. As a result, the team dominated the second period and found the back of the net twice in two minutes. For the first goal, winger Lamar Walker cut back a pass for attacking midfielder Adonijah Reid, who walked the ball in the net. And for the second, Walker took matters into his own feet, curling a shot past the keeper to give Miami FC a 2-1 lead.
Nova leveled the scoring after just three minutes of play in the final 30-minute period and took the lead in the 74th minute with a third goal to make it 3-2. However, two Miami FC trialists scored in minutes 83 and 84 to regain the lead and win 4-3.
