MEDIA INTERVIEWS

Members of the media requesting an interview with any Monterey Bay FC players, coaches or leadership at any time must make arrangements with the MBFC Communications staff:

MATCH DAY MEDIA POLICY

PARKING

Credentialed media members will be granted access to the VIP Parking Lot (Southwest Lot) via a digital parking pass. These passes will be sent via email to those who RSVP by the indicated deadline. All media members are required to RSVP via email to communications@montereybayfc.com at least 48 hours prior to each match, including those approved for season credentials.

CREDENTIAL PICK-UP

Credentials will be available for pickup at the media check-in table located at the Southwest entrance to the plaza when gates open prior to kick off. Each media member must pick up their own credentials and present corresponding photo identification. Media vests will be provided to all photographers and videographers. Upon entry, photographers with season credentials will only be required to pick up a media vest. Professional behavior while in possession of a credential is expected at all times. Any unauthorized use of a credential will result in ejection from Cardinale Stadium and confiscation of the credentials.

FIELD LEVEL MEDIA ZONE

The field-level Media Zone (as seen below) is located in the Northwest corner of the stadium, adjacent to the Santa Cruz County Bank Lounge. Media vests will be provided to all photographers and videographers upon arrival at the media check-in table and must be worn at all times. Prior to leaving the stadium, please return all media vests to the designated media usher located inside the Media Zone. Photographers may only shoot from inside the Media Zone.

PRESS LEVEL MEDIA DECK

The press-level Media Deck (as seen below) is located outside, adjacent to the press box on the South side and will open 90 minutes prior to kickoff. All credentialed media members with press-level access who have submitted an RSVP at least 48 hours prior to the match will be assigned a seat on the Media Deck. RSVPs must be submitted via email to communications@montereybayfc.com. Those with season credentials must still RSVP no later than 48 hours prior to each match to guarantee seating. Please dress warm for evening matches.

GAME NOTES/STATISTICS

Game notes and statistics will be distributed digitally, no hard copies will be delivered during the match. Additional requests for this information should be made to Steven Vargo at steven@montereybayfc.com.

POSTGAME PROCEDURES

On-field postgame interviews with players will be allowed for the broadcast crew by request only. Approximately 15 minutes after the final whistle, a postgame media availability will begin inside the Santa Cruz County Bank Lounge. At that time, a member of the Monterey Bay FC technical staff and a player will be made available to attending media for questions. A postgame quote sheet will be distributed via email following each match.
