New Mexico United is honored to partner with University of New Mexico Athletics to fight hunger in the Land of Enchantment.
1 in 7 New Mexicans, and 1 in 5 New Mexican children face hunger every day. To combat this problem, United and UNM Athletics will host supply drives at tailgate events throughout their seasons. Our terrific partners at 1800-GOT-JUNK will collect the supplies and deliver to the food banks that are most in-need across the entire state of New Mexico.
New Mexico United’s schedule for supply drives at tailgates is below:
- April 12th vs North Carolina FC
- April 26th vs Union Omaha
- June 21st vs San Antonio FC
- August 30th vs Sacramento Republic FC
We’ll be working with food banks serving communities across the entire state, including:
- Roadrunner Food Bank
- The Food Depot
- Echo Food Bank
- The Community Pantry
- Hope Garden
