
PHOENIX (January 29, 2018) — Phoenix Rising FC announced today it has acquired forward Kevaughn Frater for the 2018 season on loan from Harbour View FC. The former Colorado Springs Switchbacks and Real Monarchs player tallied 12 goals last season. Including Frater, Phoenix Rising now has 19 players under contract for the 2018 season.
In 2017, Frater was on loan with Switchbacks FC. In 29 appearances with the club, Frater led the team in goals (12) and was third on the team in assists (6). One of his goals came against Phoenix Rising in his club’s 2-1 loss on July 15.
Frater began his professional career at 16 years old with his hometown team Harbour View FC in Kingston, Jamaica. He spent three seasons with the club before going on loan to Real Monarchs SLC in 2016.
