
PHOENIX, AZ (Wednesday, April 1) – Phoenix Rising FC will join clubs across the USL Championship in supporting local charities throughout the month of April, the club announced today.
Phoenix Rising FC fans purchasing “Arizona Pride” merchandise in April will see a percentage of the proceeds donated to the Arizona COVID-19 Community Response Fund. In 35 communities across the country, USL Championship clubs will be participating in the initiative, with donations to be made to local charities of the club’s choosing.
Clubs have already been using their online presence to help their local communities since the temporary suspension of the Championship season and delay to the start of the League One season were announced. Teams will also be aiding local charities during the upcoming USL eCup: Rocket League Edition that begins on Tuesday afternoon.
