Important Matchday Information

• City Stadium is a cashless venue. All transactions inside the stadium, including concessions and merchandise, require a credit or debit card. Apple Pay, Google Pay, and Samsung Pay are also accepted!
• All match tickets must be purchased online at seatgeek.com/richmond-kickers-tickets/. Fans save $5 per ticket when they purchase more than 72 hours prior to kickoff! Fans save $10 off matchday pricing with a CityStadium+ Membership!
• All guests wishing to bring personal items into the stadium must use a clear bag to ensure a contactless bag check. Full bag policy can be found below.
• No outside food or beverage will be permitted inside the stadium.
• Gates will open 60 minutes prior to kickoff, with some dates opening 90 minutes prior (3/22, 9/17, 10/4). Parking lots will open one hour prior to gates opening. 
• General parking is FREE for all ticket holders, but space is limited and guests are encouraged to ride-share when possible. Tailgating is not permitted. 
• Guests are encouraged to arrive at the stadium early to minimize queuing.
• Inflated soccer balls, or inflated athletic balls of any kind, are not permitted inside City Stadium grounds for the safety of all fans and players. Uninflated balls are permitted for post-match player autographs.
• Children ages four and under do not require a ticket for admission. Anyone aged five and older must have a ticket for admission.
• One (1), clear and empty water container is permitted per person (32 oz or less)

Accessibility 

Wheelchair and other ADA accessible seating is located on the concourse, adjacent to our Ledge Box areas. Please call the Ticket Office at 804-644-5425 x 309 in advance to request ADA seating or visit Fan Services upon entry to City Stadium. 

Admission

All ticketing for Kickers home matches will be processed digitally. Single-game tickets will be sold in advance of each match online at seatgeek.com/richmond-kickers-tickets/.  SeatGeek is the official ticketing partner of the Richmond Kickers Pro Soccer Club. Children four and under do not require a ticket. Anyone aged five and older must have a ticket for admission to the match.  Stadium gates will open to the public 60 minutes before kickoff, with some exceptions.

Alcohol

Fans are expected to obey all state and local laws governing the purchase, possession, and consumption of alcohol while in City Stadium. Anyone under the age of 21 or visibly intoxicated will not be served alcohol. Alcohol sales will stop after the 70th minute of the match.

Bag Policy

Any personal items must be placed in a clear bag to ensure a contactless bag check. Approved bags include clear totes, plastic zip top bags (no larger than one gallon in size), small clutches (no larger than 5″ x 7″) and bagged items pertained to medical conditions or infant care.

Bike Parking

Bike racks are located adjacent to the front gate at City Stadium.

Cameras and professional A/V equipment

The use of all professional cameras (any camera with a removable lens) and camcorders inside of City Stadium requires a media credential that must be approved ahead of time by the club’s communications department. If you do not have an approved credential prior to the match, you will need to take your camera back to your vehicle before entering the venue.

Dogs 

Dogs are allowed inside City Stadium!

Please follow these guidelines:

1. Respect other fans.
2. Keep your dog on a leash at all times.
3. Please keep your dog on the concourse. Dogs are not permitted in the seating bowl.
4. Please clean up after your dog!

Epilepsy Warning

Fans at City Stadium may experience flashing lights which may be unsuitable for those with photosensitive epilepsy.

Fan Code of Conduct

All fans must adhere to the Kickers’ Fan Code of Conduct. (click here) Those violating the code of conduct are subject to removal with no refund.

Fan Services

A Fan Services tent will be located inside the main gate for information on Richmond Kickers group opportunities and season ticket packages. Group leaders are encouraged to check-in here upon entry in order to pick up their group leader gift and any other benefits included within your group purchase!

Flags, Banners and Signs

Flags, Banners and signs of any kind are not permitted inside City Stadium, unless they have been approved by the Richmond Kickers Front Office prior to entry.

Guest Services

A Guest Services tent will be located adjacent to the main gate for information on stadium policies and general inquiries. Tickets will not be available for purchase at the Guest Services tent.

Kids Policy

Children ages 4 and under do not require a ticket for entry.

Lost and Found 

Lost items may be returned to Fan Services, located on the main concourse behind the north concessions.

Merchandise

Kickers merchandise is available for purchase in the trailer right by the front gates throughout the match. Check out shoprichmondsoccer.com to browse our options and new 2025 jerseys!

Noisemakers

Noisemakers of any kind are prohibited from entry into City Stadium unless otherwise pre-approved by the Richmond Kickers’ Front Office.

Outside Food and Drink

Outside food and beverages are not permitted in City Stadium. Special considerations may be made for medical reasons. One (1), clear and empty container is permitted per person (32 oz or less). There are two water refill stations located on the concourse, courtesy of Richmond Water.

Parking

Day of match parking at City Stadium is FREE for all ticket holders, based on availability. Please arrive early as the parking lots will fill up by kickoff! Per League guidelines, tailgating will not be permitted on the premises. 

Use GRTC Route 20 to bus to City Stadium! Bike racks will also be available on site.

Parking in the surrounding neighborhood is not permitted and vehicles that do are subject to towing.

Parking lots will open one hour prior to gates opening. 

Prohibited Items

For the safety and security of our guests, the following items are not permitted in to the facility:

*Special considerations will be made for guests with special medical needs and parents caring for infants.

• Weapons
• Smoke devices, flares, or fireworks of any kind
• Illegal substances, drugs, or chemicals of any kind
• Projectiles
• Metal, plastic, glass, aluminum, or non-clear containers of an kind
• Hard-sided coolers or containers of any size
• Prohibited bags include backbacks, purses, camera bags, computer bags and cinch bags. Clear totes, plastic zip top bags (not exceeding one gallon), small clutches and bagged items related to a medical condition are allowed
• No backpacks or luggage allowed (clear tote bags (plastic, vinyl or PVC) will be allowed)
• Large purses, or other similar bags, that exceed 5″ x 7″ will not be allowed
• Poles of any kind (metal, plastic, or wooden)
• Any outside food or beverage
• Professional cameras and equipment, including lenses in excess of eight (8) inches, tripods, and monopods
• Frisbees
• Inflated balls of any kind (including soccer balls)
• Artificial noisemakers, including whistles or air horns of any kind
• Laser pointers
• Streamers and confetti
• Drones
• Aerosol cans
• Rollerblades/skateboards/hoverboards
• Seat cushions larger than 16″ by 16″ or that contain armrests or metal backs

Re-Entry

Re-entry is allowed at City Stadium, however, you must be receive a hand stamp by security before leaving.

Resale of Tickets / Scalping

Resale of tickets on City Stadium grounds is strictly prohibited. Paid tickets are able to be resold online via SeatGeek.

Smoking

Smoking is not permitted inside City Stadium outside of the designated smoking area.

Inflated soccer balls, or inflated athletic balls of any kind, are not permitted inside City Stadium grounds for the safety of all fans and players. Uninflated balls are permitted for post-match player autographs.

Weather

City Stadium is an outdoor venue and thus susceptible to bad weather. Games will be delayed in the event of lightning and will be postponed if conditions are deemed unplayable by the match officials. Postponements are very rare, but in the event the match is postponed BEFORE the 70th minute, your tickets may be exchanged for another 2025 regular-season home match, subject to availability.
