Jamie Gerstenberg, a native of Birkenwerder, Germany, is no stranger to the spotlight. Before taking to the collegiate stage, Gerstenberg played for the U17 and U19 German National Team, where Indiana University had the chance to see their next star goalie shine.

In the net at Indiana, she played and started in 67 games for a total of over 5,900 minutes during her four seasons. Her career stats resulted in a .81 goals against average, 185 saves and 30 shutouts, which prompted her 13 award nominations including Big Ten All-Freshman Team in 2021, and Big Ten Goalkeeper of the Year in 2023. Having Gerstenberg between the pipes will give Sporting Jax some highlight worthy saves, and plenty of security during their inaugural season.
