Colorado Springs, CO (March 26, 2019) – The USL Championship officially announced today that Cesar Romero and Andre Rawls have been named to the bench of the USL Championship Team of the Week for week three of the season.
The Switchbacks defeated San Antonio FC 1-0 behind Romero's late strike and Rawl's clean sheet. Romero was subbed on for his Switchbacks debut in the 82nd minute before scoring the game-winner from nearly 30 yards out to give the Switchbacks the first win just four minutes after entering the field. Rawls recorded four saves in route to the first clean sheet of the season for the Switchbacks.

The Switchbacks return to Weidner Field on Saturday, April 13th to face Reno 1868 FC on poster giveaway night with the Gazette, where draw-string bags will also be given away to the first 500 fans courtesy of Capelli Sport. Full 16oz beers will be available for $1 for the first 30 minutes after gates open at 5:00 PM. Tickets start at just $12 and are available HERE. For the price of a Switchbacks ticket and 2-5 beers, it is cheaper than buying 2-5 beers at a bar or restaurant.
