Last week, Switchbacks FC forward Miguel Gonzalez went out into the community to talk to the students of Atlas Preparatory School. The inquisitive fifth grade students were able to ask Miguel questions about the amount of hard work that goes into becoming a professional soccer player. The class was eager to learn about the life of an adult athlete and the steps they should take to be like him.
After the thorough Q & A, Miguel went out to the pitch to chat to the middle school girls soccer team. The pro talked through a variety of moves, fakes, juggling, and his favorite maneuver, the bicycle kick (although no one attempted to do that).
Thank you Atlas Prep for letting the Switchbacks come to your school and talk about the great game of soccer!
