STATESBORO, Ga. – June 5, 2024 – South Georgia Tormenta FC’s Sebastián Vivas has been named the Tormenta FC May Player of the Month for his performances throughout the month. The striker has won the award for the second consecutive month.
Fans had the final say on Vivas’ May Player of the Month award, voting on the Tormenta FC app.

Vivas received 56% of the vote, winning May’s Player of the Month award.
The Argentinian attacker scored in three out of five matches for South Georgia during May.
Vivas’ most notable performance of the month came on May 18 against the Chattanooga Red Wolves, in which he recorded his first brace and provided his first assist for South Georgia. His display against Chattanooga earned him the USL League One Player of the Week award.
South Georgia’s top goalscorer also found the back of the net against Union Omaha and the Richmond Kickers during May.
