STATESBORO, Ga. – June 7, 2024 – South Georgia Tormenta FC will host rival Greenville Triumph SC on Sunday, June 9 in the USL Jägermeister Cup. Sunday’s 7:30 p.m. kickoff will mark the third time the two have faced each other during the 2024 season.

South Georgia enters Sunday’s match after drawing its last match 1-1 in USL League One play against the Charlotte Independence. Greenville is entering Sunday’s match following a 1-3 defeat to Chattanooga Red Wolves in league play.

Midfielder Mason Tunbridge netted his third goal of the season during the match against Charlotte Independence, earning himself the USL League One Week 10 Goal of the Week. Tunbridge has become a regular for Head Coach Ian Cameron, being utilized in 15 of the team’s matches this season.
