OSSAA Slow Pitch State Championships to be contested at USA Softball Hall of Fame Complex

OKLAHOMA CITY — The USA Softball Hall of Fame Complex will play host to the Oklahoma Secondary School Activities Association (OSSAA) High School Slow Pitch State Championships May 2-3 as 56 teams across seven classes will compete for their respective High School Slow Pitch State Championship title. Class B, A, 5A and 6A will take the field tomorrow, May 2, while Class 2A, 3A and 4A will battle it out on Wednesday, May 3.

Competition will kick off tomorrow with Class A and B games beginning at 8:30 a.m. CT followed by Class 5A starting at 11:30 a.m. and Class 6A  at 2:30 p.m. Games will be played across all four fields at the Softball Capital of the World® with the Championship games slated for 4 p.m. CT (Class A), 5:30 p.m. CT (Class B), 7 p.m. CT (Class 5A) and 8:30 p.m. CT (Class 6A) on the USA Softball Hall of Fame Stadium – OGE Energy Field.

Beginning the quest for a State Championship title on May 3, Class 2A will open the competition at 10 a.m. CT followed by Class 3A and 4A beginning their quest to the title at 11:30 a.m. CT. The competition will be spread across all four fields with the Championship games taking place on OGE Energy Field at 4 p.m. CT (Class 2A), 5:30 p.m. CT (Class 3A) and 7 p.m. CT (Class 4A).

Live stats will be available via Gamechanger throughout both days of competition, in addition to live streaming being provided for all fields through the National Federation of State High School Associations (NFHS) Network with a paid subscription. Tickets for the OSSAA High School Slow Pitch State Championships can be purchased in advance through GoFan for $10 per day. Cash tickets can also be purchased on-site for $13 with three dollars of each cash ticket being distributed to the participating schools. 

Gates to the USA Softball Hall of Fame Complex will open at 7:30 a.m. CT tomorrow and 9 a.m. CT on Wednesday in addition to the USA Softball gift shop being open for fans from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. CT each day.
