U.S. U-15 Women’s National Team opens 2025 Pan American Championship with 11-0 run-rule victory over Brazil
ACAPULCO, Mexico — The world-ranked No. 1 U.S. U-15 Women’s National Team (WNT) kicked off the 2025 U-15 Women’s Pan American Championship with an 11-0 shutout victory over Brazil, highlighted by perfect multi-hit performances from four eagles – Melody Soto (3-for-3), Michaela Landers (2-for-2), Skyla Saito (2-for-2) and Khloe Williams (2-for-2). Malloree Harr got the start in the circle for the Eagles, fanning five batters through two innings before Maci Barnes took over in the third for five additional K’s, clinching a combined no-hitter for the pair.
Getting on the board early, the U.S. offense came out hot at the plate with two runs scored in the bottom of the first after a single from Williams and a double from Soto set the stage for Saito to push two across with a line drive single to left – taking the early lead, 2-0. Back-to-back doubles from Amiyah Currie and Williams tacked on three more to start the bottom of the second before a pair of singles from Soto and Saito plated two to extend the lead to 7-0. The 8-run second inning was capped with a triple from Landers to put the Eagles in reach of the run-rule, leading 10-0. Soto tabbed the final run of the game in the bottom of the third with a single to left field before Barnes shut it down in the circle to seal the run-rule win in the top of the fourth.


Team USA improves to 3-0 at the 2025 Pan American Championship after back-to-back wins over Argentina and Guatemala
ACAPULCO, Mexico — The U-15 Women’s National Team (WNT) proved dominant on Day 2 of the 2025 Pan American Championship, outscoring their opponents 32-0 with a pair of run-rule victories over Argentina (22-0 – 3 innings) and Guatemala (10-0 – 4 innings). Today’s win over Guatemala marks Team USA’s third-straight shutout win of the tournament.
The U.S. offense came out firing in the two wins with a combined 21 hits with Amiyah Currie tabbing three hits on the day, while seven Eagles followed close behind with two. Khloe Williams held a perfect multi-hit day at the plate, going 2-for-2. The U.S. offense posted four home runs throughout Day 2 – with Raegan Brandt, Currie and Liana Saenz tabbing one apiece in the first matchup, while Skyla Saito recorded a solo shot against Guatemala.
Leona Eichholz and Malloree Harr took care of business in the circle against Argentina, fanning a combined eight batters through three innings, while not allowing any hits. Keeping the momentum, Maci Barnes got the start against Guatemala, tossing seven Ks through three innings before Ansley Johnson took over in the fourth to seal the win. The pitching staff combined for 16 strikeouts on the day, while not allowing a single hit through seven innings – marking the staff’s third-straight no-hitter of the tournament.

U-15 Women’s National Team posts 15-0 shutout win over Venezuela to remain undefeated at the 2025 Pan Am Championship
ACAPULCO, Mexico — The Red, White and Blue closed out Opening Round of the 2025 Pan American Championship with a 15-0 run-rule victory over Venezuela – highlighted by two home runs off the bat of Allie Eicholtz – who went 2-for-2 on the day. Abby Stenerson also had a perfect 2-for-2 day at the plate, while Skyla Saito and Melody Soto each posted multi-hit performances (2-for-4) in the matchup.
The U.S. pitching staff of Ansley Johnson and Leona Eichholz proved dominant in the circle, recording eight strikeouts through five innings and delivering a combined no-hitter. This win marks Team USA’s fourth consecutive no-hitter of the tournament.
The Eagles struck early, taking the lead in the top of the first inning after a double from Saito and a ground-out RBI from Amiyah Currie brought in two runs, putting the U.S. ahead 2-0. While the Venezuelan defense managed to quiet the U.S. bats in the second inning, the offense came alive in the third. A single from Kyndall Johnson and a fielding error contributed two runs to the score before a series of singles from Stenerson, Raegan Brandt, and Saito added three more, ending the inning with a score of 8-0. Eicholtz extended the lead in the top of the fourth with a solo home run to center field before Soto hit a bases-loaded triple in the bottom of the fifth — increasing the lead to 12-0. Eichholz then scored with a base hit before Eicholtz hit her second home run of the day over the left field fence, bringing in the final two runs. Eichholz closed the game in the bottom of the fifth, striking out three-straight batters to seal the 15-0 victory by run rule after five innings.
The Red, White and Blue put on a strong performance throughout Opening Round of the 2025 Pan American Championship with a .505 team batting average and a combined 46 hits, while outscoring its opponents 58-0. Leading the U.S. at the plate is Melody Soto with a .636 batting average followed by Skyla Saito (.625) and Amiyah Currie (.625). The U.S. pitching staff of Maci Barnes, Eichholz, Malloree Harr and A. Johnson remains dominant with a combined 34 strikeouts – with Barnes leading the pack tossing 12 K’s.

U-15 Women’s National Team opens Super Round with 7-0 run-rule over Mexico
ACAPULCO, Mexico — Team USA improved to 5-0 at the 2025 Pan American Championship with a dominating 7-0 run-rule victory over Mexico, the top seed in Group B. Today’s win marks the Eagles’ fifth consecutive shutout in the tournament.
Team USA came out strong in Game 5, scoring seven runs on 11 hits. Notable performances included a perfect 3-for-3 day at the plate from Khloe Williams, along with two hits each from Amiyah Currie, Allie Eicholtz, and Michaela Landers, all of whom finished 2-for-3. Eicholtz also contributed with a home run, while four doubles from the U.S. offense helped secure the win. On the pitching side, Maci Barnes and Malloree Harr combined for nine strikeouts, sealing the Eagles’ fifth straight run-rule victory of the tournament.

Team USA clinches tight 3-2 victory over Puerto Rico; Secures spot in gold medal game with undefeated 6-0 record
ACAPULCO, Mexico — Behind the arms of Leona Eichholz and Malloree Harr, Team USA secured its sixth-consecutive win at the 2025 Pan American Championship with a narrow 3-2 victory over world-ranked No. 3 Puerto Rico to remain undefeated. Today’s victory guarantees the Eagles a spot in the gold medal matchup scheduled for March 28.
Quiet through the first three innings, Puerto Rico took the lead in the top of the fourth thanks to a pair of singles and a sac-bunt that put them on top, 0-2. The U.S. responded in the bottom of the fourth when Liana Saenz sped home on a wild pitch to narrow the score, 1-2. Skyla Saito tied the game in the bottom of the sixth with a single down the left field line, while Melody Soto pushed another run across with a ground-out RBI, giving the Eagles a 3-2 lead. Taking care of business in the circle, Harr proved dominant in the top of the seventh, retiring three out of four batters via strikeout to secure the 3-2 win for Team USA. The U.S. pitching staff of Eichholz and Harr combined for 10 strikeouts in the matchup, while only allowing one walk through seven innings.
The U.S. will close out Super Round tomorrow, March 27, with a matchup against Canada at 2:30 p.m. MT / 3:30 p.m. CT, with the gold medal matchup to follow on March 28 at 1:30 p.m. MT / 2:30 p.m. CT.

ACAPULCO, Mexico — Team USA improved to 7-0 at the 2025 Pan American Championship after claiming a dominant 17-0 run-rule victory over Canada to close out Super Round. The Eagles will advance to the gold medal game against Mexico, scheduled for tomorrow at 3:30 p.m. MT (4:30 p.m. CT).
In Game 7, Team USA came out strong, scoring in all three innings with 10 U.S. batters recording at least one hit in the matchup. A dominant offensive showing, the Eagles scored 17 runs on 16 hits — highlighted by perfect 3-for-3 performances from Michaela Landers and Khloe Williams. Both players hit home runs in the matchup, with Williams capping the game with a walk-off grand slam. Additionally, Kyndall Johnson and Melody Soto each posted perfect 2-for-2 showings at the plate, further boosting the U.S. offense. In the circle, the pitching duo of Ansley Johnson and Leona Eichholz combined for six strikeouts while only allowing one hit through three innings — securing the team’s sixth shutout of the tournament.

Team USA secures gold medal at 2025 Pan American Championship following 5-0 win over Mexico
ACAPULCO, Mexico — Behind four multi-hit performances and three doubles from the U.S. offense, the U.S. U-15 Women’s National Team (WNT) posted its final win of the 2025 Pan American Championship, defeating Mexico 5-0 to close out the tournament undefeated. Today’s win not only secured the gold medal but also qualified the team for the 2025 World Baseball Softball Confederation (WBSC) U-15 Women’s World Cup.
The championship match against Mexico kicked off at 3:30 p.m. MT / 4:30 p.m. CT. Ashleigh Bronowicz stood out offensively for the Eagles, posting a perfect 2-for-2 day at the plate. Amiyah Currie, Michaela Landers, and Abby Stenerson also contributed with multi-hit performances. In addition, Bronowicz, Landers, and Khloe Williams each hit a double in the matchup, helping propel the U.S. to victory. Malloree Harr got the start in the circle, recording three K’s through five innings, before Maci Barnes took over in the sixth to seal the shutout win.
Today’s victory marks Team USA’s seventh tournament shutout en route to securing the gold medal with Opening Round wins against Brazil, Argentina, Guatemala, and Venezuela. The U-15 WNT picked up three more wins in Super Round over Mexico, Puerto Rico and Canada to claim the No. 1 seed going into the gold medal matchup. The Eagles displayed dominance throughout the tournament, winning six out of their eight games by run-rule and outscoring opponents 90-2. Leading the U.S. offense through the undefeated campaign was Williams, who posted a .611 batting average, followed by Landers (.600), Melody Soto (.550), and Stenerson (.533). The U.S. pitching staff of Barnes, Leona Eichholz, Harr and Ansley Johnson shined in the eight wins — totaling 64 strikeouts while only giving up two runs through 39 innings.
The Red, White and Blue led the tournament in eight offensive categories and three pitching categories including batting average (Williams – .611), home runs (Eicholtz – 3), RBI (Soto, Williams – 11), stolen bases (Landers – 5), runs (Landers – 13), hits (Landers – 12), triples (Soto – 2), and slugging percentage (Landers – 1.100).
