BIRMINGHAM, AL (July 13, 2022) – Birmingham Legion FC announced today that defender Jake Rufe has been ruled out for six to eight weeks after sustaining a lower body injury. Following successful surgery last week, the Huntsville native is expected to make a full recovery.
Rufe was in the midst of his best stretch as a pro, having started five games in a row. On the season, he has made ten appearances and registered 18 clearances, 12 tackles, 11 interceptions, four chances created, and three blocks.
