Birmingham Legion FC returns to Protective Stadium on Sunday, September 10 for a clash against USL Western Conference opponents New Mexico United. Gates will open at 4:30pm CT and kickoff is at 5:30 pm. Come out and help the Birmingham community honor its service members, as Legion FC celebrates its Salute to Service alongside Vulcan Materials.
Get there early! In honor of its first responders, beer will sell for $3 until kickoff. The match will also feature the University of Alabama at Birmingham’s Color Guard, who will honor USMC Reserve Maj. Scooter Thomas as one of Legion’s Blue Cross Blue Shield 99 Community Heroes.
