BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (Dec. 15, 2024) — Birmingham Legion FC announced today an additional friendly to the 2024 Preseason Schedule. The MLS NEXT PRO club Chattanooga FC will host the Three Sparks on Saturday, March 2nd at 3:00 p.m. ET at Finley Stadium.
“We are looking forward to playing Chattanooga,” said Birmingham Legion Head Coach Tommy Soehn. “They have been a staple to our preseason and I think it’s a good test both for us and them, and hopefully we can continue this preseason rivalry for future times.”
This preseason match will be open to the public at Finley Stadium.
“We have always enjoyed playing Birmingham,” said Head Coach and Sporting Director Rod Underwood. “They are a good organization on and off the field. They are well-coached and have high-level players. We are looking forward to the match.”
Tickets will go on sale starting Tuesday, December 19.
