Legion FC Outlook
On the last time out, Legion FC rallied a massive 3-1 comeback victory against Loudoun United FC. This win would secure Legion’s first home victory for the 2024 regular season.
In the 49th minute the visiting team got on the scoresheet.The club was able to equalize in the 67th minute thanks to a Loudoun own goal. Forward, Tyler Pasher scored his first goal of the season in the 74th minute, putting Legion one goal ahead. Defender, Mujeeb Murana also got on the scoresheet in stoppage time, sealing Legion’s 3-1 victory.
Matt VanOekel continues to be a reliable presence, recording 411 saves and 43 clean sheets. VanOekel has the third most saves in the league so far this season.
This will be the first time in the 2024 regular season that Legion FC meet North Carolina FC.

North Carolina FC has returned to the USL Championship this season after spending the past three seasons in USL League One.
North Carolina FC most recently fell 1-0 to Detroit City FC at Keyworth Stadium with an own goal. This marked the second loss of the season for North Carolina. NCFC have a record of 1-2-2 with five points. NCFC are currently tied for the third-lowest shots on target conceded this season.
