After a midweek win in the Lamar Hunt US Open Cup match, Legion is back in USL Championship play and will face Miami FC. This will be Legion’s fifth away match. After a 1-1 draw on the road to North Carolina FC, the squad will look to improve its form. A 4-2 win over the Chattanooga Red Wolves in the Open Cup has given the squad more confidence. Brazilian forward Stefano Pinho scored two headers to level the Legion in regular time. Pinho would score two more goals in extra time sealing Legion FC’s victory.

Miami FC comes off a 2-5 loss against in-state rivals the Tampa Bay Rowdies. Miami conceded three goals in the first half. Earlier this week Miami FC faced a 2-4 defeat after a first-half red card and the visiting team, South Georgia Tormenta scored three second-half goals. The home team enters Saturday’s match looking to bounce back and collect three points.
