SeatGeek becomes the primary ticketing partner for the Charleston Battery, bringing its industry-leading ticketing technology to the Club and its supporters.
The Charleston Battery announced on Wednesday a multi-year agreement with SeatGeek, the innovative ticketing platform, to become its primary ticketing partner. The Club becomes SeatGeek’s first South Carolina based partner and its third United Soccer League Championship (USL) partner. The partnership with SeatGeek gives Charleston supporters a superior digital-first, safe and easy way to buy, sell, and transfer tickets.
The Battery chose to partner with SeatGeek because of the platform’s forward-thinking approach to ticketing technology. Starting with the 2021 season, fans attending Battery matches will use the SeatGeek app on their personal device to directly scan into the new stadium at Patriots Point. Supporters can also use the app to take advantage of several game day features like booking a ride to the match, weather updates, and contact-free entry.

The Battery join a growing number of leading USL teams using SeatGeek as their primary ticketing partner, including Louisville City FC and Colorado Springs Switchbacks FC. As the second professional division in the U.S. soccer pyramid, the USL is the fastest growing professional soccer league in the world. SeatGeek’s partnership roster also includes six MLS clubs as well as English Premier Clubs Liverpool FC and Manchester City FC.
