Louisville (KY) — The Charlotte Independence extended their unbeaten streak to three games following a 1-1 draw versus Louisville City FC on Saturday night at Slugger Field. Independence forward Dominic Oduro netted his team-leading, sixth goal of the USL regular season.
In the seventh minute, in a total-team goal, eight different Independence field players combined passes culminating in defender Joel Johnson breaking past the Louisville back line and connecting with Dominic Oduro for a score.
The Independence would maintain the lead for the majority of the match, but in the 77th minute, Louisville substitute Luke Spencer equalized for the home side.
