CHARLOTTE (July 8, 2020) – The Charlotte Independence has been thrilled with our youth club affiliation over the past year, but are especially proud now with the youth club’s launching of the One Club, One Love effort. The One Club, One Love effort will look to directly address our society’s racial inequities starting within the youth club with staff, families, and players – and then looking outward.

Our team will go through this education, discussions of difficult issues, self-inspection, and self-improvement. We will be intentional, active participants with our employees, the youth club, and our players to make a long-lasting impact on our team and in our club, city-state, and nation. Individually, we can make a difference – but as partners, we can do even more.
