On the match against Birmingham Legion FC…
“We played well against Birmingham – we were able to move the ball well and broke them down for chances early. I thought we showed good character to get the next goal after conceding the equalizer – great finish from Dane. We managed the second half well – the red card definitely helped, but we had a very strong defensive outing against a very potent attack.”
On North Carolina FC…
“As this game is the third time playing them in less than a month, we are both familiar with each other. The games always have intensity. NCFC is the best possession team in the USL – we have to be patient defensively and not get stretched. NCFC have a number of very good attacking options and the ability to vary what they do, which is always a challenge. They will come in with confidence after coming back from two down against Memphis last weekend.”
Keys to the match against North Carolina FC…
“Keeping our shape defensively. Being able to play through their defensive pressure. Very bland cliches’, but I cannot say too much.”
