Charlotte, N.C. (June 15, 2021) – The Charlotte Independence announced today a philanthropic partnership with Charlotte Pride, the leader in LGBTQ visibility in Charlotte and the Carolinas. The Jacks join the LGBTQ community in their on-going fight for equality with a campaign to raise awareness and funds for the cause throughout the season and during Charlotte Pride Night on Saturday, August 14 at the new American Legion Memorial Stadium. Kickoff is scheduled for 7:00 PM (ET).
Charlotte Pride will help promote their sponsored night at the new stadium with a unique ticket link that can be found on their website and social media platforms. Proceeds from ticket sales purchased from this link will be donated to Charlotte Pride to invest in the continued success of their programs, projects, and activities including the 2021 Charlotte Pride Season of events beginning on August 21 and running through November 13.

Charlotte Pride representatives will be on-site on game day to distribute educational resources to Independence fans and the greater Charlotte community. In addition, the Charlotte Independence have launched a collection of merchandise inspired by the Charlotte Pride organization and their positive impact on our community. Proceeds from the sales of Pride merch will also be contributed to Charlotte Pride.
