CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (October 23rd, 2020) – The Chattanooga Red Wolves have picked up Tim Trilk’s option for the 2021 season. Trilk came to the Red Wolves, and despite not gaining a lot of playing time Trilk was able to showcase his abilities against one of the best teams in League One on a daily basis. His shot-blocking, distribution, and from-behind leadership abilities speak volumes to who Tim is as a keeper which makes it an easy decision to bring him on for the 2021 season.
Trilk remained steadfast and brought the intensity to every training session, which resonated with Head Coach Jimmy Obleda who is known for his passion for the beautiful game. In a postseason interview, he said, “This last season Tim was able to watch and learn what he needed to do so when he got his chance. Well his chance is now. And we have high expectations for him this next season”. Trilk will arrive at camp in 2021 with high expectations, but all of which should be within his grasp given his exceptional showing during the previous season.
President and General Manager Sean McDaniel also had great remarks about Trilk saying, “Tim comes in as our number one keeper and the expectations are high. We love having Tim in the net for us.” While the general public has not been able to witness the innate ability that Tim Trilk possesses, the city of Chattanooga should be excited about what the new keeper will provide. 2021’s new keeper has been granted a significant opportunity, but it was earned through time, sweat and dedication throughout the 2020 season. Trilk will bring stability, athleticism, and an energy that will match the sensational roster that is being built out for 2021.
